Sometimes it gets to that point in winter when the snow is melting and at the same time the sky is dark and heavy, but yet sunny. You have no clue about its next steps… Anything can happen anytime… You can only wait and see the outcome… That is, if it decides to show itself.

A few whatever shots. Like the things that we do not consider important at first glance, so are these shots… They can pass by as insignificant, mediocre quality shots… But then again…
I don’t get this opportunity very often, which is a shame… but walking through downtown of Cluj-Napoca does allow you to see elements of new ages and history mix up together.

It was a nice bottle of red wine from Spain. As I understood, there are minor vineyards that self bottle their wine for you on the spot.
Especially good since it was enjoyed among good friends and more than that…

Could not decide which one of the first two images to include so I included both.
I liked the details where pieces of wood would carve their way through salt.

I finally took the chance to visit the ex-salt mine from Turda, Cluj county.
I heard several good stories about the place but this was one of the few fortunate cases when the actual experience beats the stories.
The combination of old, new, rust, history, future, industry, medicine, tourism and some good friends, all mixed together and spiced with a lot of salt provides a good recipe for a successful half day.
