Just a simple bowl of apples. As simple as that. Its weird how the most simplest things we encounter tell us the most. Like this bowl of apples, as is, nothing special, but yet…

…we are not quite there yet (from the season point of view; as for the place, we are quite far far away…) but we are headed in this direction.

1st birthday
The 1st one is always remembered. It is priceless.
Now you get the chance to mess up the cake and not only that you do not get into trouble, but more than that, everyone is congratulating you for it.

One more
…that I missed.
…that I almost forgot.
…that is a non-fake beauty.

…salty details
Decided to add a few more similar with the last ones from Turda salt mine.
Could not decide which one of the first two images to include so I included both.
I liked the details where pieces of wood would carve their way through salt.

Selective
This view of the tulips from the botanical garden of Cluj-Napoca came to my mind in the past days.
They seem depicted from a Frank Miller comic.

In-between
Like promised in 2nd perspective, this is the in-between vision that is nor as saturated as the before mentioned perspective, nor as B & W as in Ethnographic introduction.

Salted & rusty
I finally took the chance to visit the ex-salt mine from Turda, Cluj county.
I heard several good stories about the place but this was one of the few fortunate cases when the actual experience beats the stories.
The combination of old, new, rust, history, future, industry, medicine, tourism and some good friends, all mixed together and spiced with a lot of salt provides a good recipe for a successful half day.

2nd perspective
…this is on the opposite perspective on the ethnographic museum.
It is quite interesting for me to put the “retro” and the HDR perspectives side by side.
I promise I’ll come back later with a 3rd, in-between, perspective…

Colors
This is the reason why my favorite season of the year is autumn.
All these different shades of brown and green mixing up together provide a harmony screaming environment.

Ethnographic introduction
The Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca is history charged.
Mythical place which underlines aspects of our ancestors way of life. The sunny autumn day offered me the perfect conditions to meet it.
I can not believe that I live in this city for eleven years and only now managed to reach this place.
Later edit: Also checkout the in-between perspective…
